DoseDrops is designed with privacy in mind. The app does not require account registration and does not collect personally identifiable information, including but not limited to:

All medication reminders, eye drop reminders, general reminders, reminder history, and application settings are stored locally on your device. We do not collect, upload, transmit, or store your medication data on our servers.

Local Data Storage

DoseDrops stores the following information locally on your device:

Medication names
Eye drop reminders
General reminders
Dosage information
Reminder schedules
Reminder history
App preferences and settings

This information remains on your device until you choose to delete it by clearing the app's data or uninstalling DoseDrops.

Deleting Your Data

All reminder data, history, and settings are stored locally on your device. You may permanently remove all DoseDrops data at any time.

To clear app data on Android:

Open Settings on your Android device.
Tap Apps or Manage Apps (the name may vary depending on your device).
Select DoseDrops.
Tap Storage or Storage & Cache.
Tap Clear Data or Clear Storage.

This will permanently delete:

All medication reminders
Eye drop reminders
General reminders
Reminder history
App settings and preferences

Alternatively, uninstalling DoseDrops will also remove all locally stored app data unless your device is configured to retain application data.

Permissions Used

DoseDrops requests only the permissions required to provide reliable reminder functionality.

Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used to display medication and reminder notifications at scheduled times.
Exact Alarms (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM): Used to ensure reminders are delivered at the exact scheduled time, even when the device is idle.
Full-Screen Intent (USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT): Used to display full-screen reminder alerts when a critical medication time is reached, even if the device is locked.
Boot Completed (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): Used to restore scheduled reminders automatically after your device restarts.
Vibration (VIBRATE): Used to provide vibration alerts during reminder notifications.

DoseDrops uses these permissions solely to provide its core reminder functionality.

Advertising

DoseDrops displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Google AdMob may automatically collect certain information, including:

Advertising ID
Device information
Approximate location (derived from your IP address)
Diagnostic information
Ad performance information

This information is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google's own Privacy Policy.
